Accessibility statement
HVAC by Pixcel wants every visitor to be able to use this website, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. We hold our own site to the same standard we use for client sites, because a homeowner with a failed furnace should never be blocked by a website they cannot use.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is part of how we design and build, not a final check before launch.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with one H1 per page, a logical heading order and landmark regions
- Full keyboard access, a visible focus indicator and a link to skip to the main content
- Text and interface colors chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
- A minimum text size, and layouts that reflow when you zoom in
- Labels, instructions and clear error messages on every form field
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and graphics
- Touch targets sized for comfortable use on a phone
- Animation that respects your device's reduced motion setting
- Testing with automated tools, keyboard-only navigation and screen readers before release
Known limitations
We review the site regularly, but some areas may not yet fully meet our standard:
- Animated sections. Some pages use motion and scroll effects to explain ideas. These respect the reduced motion setting on your device. When it is on, animation is removed or replaced with a static version, and the content stays the same.
- Maps and data graphics. The locations map and other graphics have text equivalents, but complex visuals may be harder to use with some assistive technology.
- Third-party content. Embedded tools such as scheduling widgets and Loom videos come from other companies. We choose accessible options where we can, but we do not control their code.
Feedback
If you find a barrier on this site, tell us through our contact page. Include the page address and a short description of the problem. We will respond, work to fix it and, in the meantime, provide the information another way.
Want the same standard on your own site? Our HVAC website development work includes accessibility testing as part of every build.
