Privacy policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HVAC by Pixcel ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit this website, use our free tools or contact us. It applies to this website only. Services we provide to clients under a signed agreement are covered by that agreement.
Information you give us
When you book a call, send a brief, request a free homepage concept or ask for an audit report, our forms collect some or all of the following:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name
- Website address
- Any details you choose to include in a message
We use this information to reply to you, deliver what you asked for, prepare proposals and keep a record of our conversations. We do not add you to a marketing newsletter unless you ask to be added.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive and which forms are submitted. Google Analytics collects information such as device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages visited and interactions with the site. We use these reports in aggregate to improve the site and do not use them to identify individual visitors.
Our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the date and time of requests, to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visitors and sessions apart. We may also use a small number of functional cookies or local storage to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising cookies on this site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies does not stop the site from working.
The website audit tool
When you use the free website audit, the URL you enter is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights, a Google service, to measure speed and Core Web Vitals. Google processes that request under its own terms and privacy policy. Our tool also requests the public pages at that address to check SEO, accessibility and HVAC conversion items. Please enter only a public website address. If you ask for the report by email, we use your email address to send it and may keep the results with your contact details so we can discuss them with you.
How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run this site and our business, such as:
- Website hosting and content delivery
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
- Website performance testing (Google PageSpeed Insights)
- Email, scheduling and video tools we use to reply to you and send Loom walkthroughs
- Form processing and customer relationship management tools
These providers may use the information only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep information
We keep form submissions and related emails for as long as we need them to respond, provide services and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, then delete or de-identify them. If you do not become a client, we delete your enquiry details once they are no longer useful for that conversation. Google Analytics keeps event-level data for the period set in our account, after which only aggregated reports remain.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you rights over your personal information. Subject to legal exceptions, you may:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, its sources and the purposes
- Access a copy of your personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it)
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it through this site)
- Exercise these rights without discrimination
To make a request, contact us through our contact page. We will verify your request by matching the information you provide with what we hold, and we will respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof of their authority. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of sale or sharing.
Children
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and established service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our site, our tools or the law change. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
