Process
Our HVAC website design process, step by step
Five steps, each with clear deliverables and a clear decision point for you. You see your new homepage before you commit to anything, and nothing goes live until you approve it. Your team spends a few focused sessions with us, not weeks of meetings during the busy season.
- 01
Free audit
Day 1We review your current website for mobile speed, SEO basics, accessibility and our HVAC conversion checklist, so we both start from the same facts about what is working and what is costing you calls.
Every project starts with the facts. Run the free website audit yourself, or send us your URL and we will run it for you. We test mobile speed and Core Web Vitals with Google PageSpeed Insights, check titles, headings and indexing, and look for common accessibility problems.
Then we score the site against an HVAC conversion checklist: click-to-call on every page, online booking, your license shown, recent reviews, financing and service-area pages. You get a plain summary of what is helping, what is hurting and which fixes matter most. If your current site only needs a few changes, we will tell you so.
You get- PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals results
- SEO and accessibility basics check
- HVAC conversion checklist score
- Short list of priority fixes

Homepage concept and Loom walkthrough
5 business daysWe design a homepage concept for your company and record a Loom walkthrough that explains each decision, so you can judge the direction before you commit to a full build.
Instead of a pitch deck, we show you the work. Using your logo, colors, service area and services, we design the homepage your new site would have. Then we record a Loom walkthrough you can watch when the phones are quiet and share with your GM or business partner.
The walkthrough covers how the page routes no-cool and no-heat calls, where booking and financing sit, and how the layout supports local SEO. It comes with a recommended sitemap and a proposal. There is no obligation to go further. Request yours on the free homepage concept page.
You get- Custom homepage concept
- Recorded Loom walkthrough
- Recommended sitemap
- Proposal with scope and timeline
- 03
Build
4–6 weeksWe design the remaining pages, write the copy, build the site for speed and accessibility, and connect forms, booking and call tracking to the software your office already uses.
Once you approve the concept, we build the full site. That includes service pages for repair, replacement, maintenance and indoor air quality, service-area pages for the cities you want to grow in, and pages for financing, reviews and maintenance agreements.
We write the copy with input from your team, then build for fast mobile load times and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility. Forms and booking connect to ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber or your current system, and calls can be tracked with CallRail. You review everything on a staging site and request changes before anything goes live. Our HVAC website development page covers the technical side in more detail.
You get- Full page designs and copy
- Service and service-area pages
- Booking, forms and call tracking
- Field service software connections
- Staging site for your review

Launch
Launch dayWe move the site live with redirects, tracking and search settings in place, so the rankings you have earned and your call routing carry over cleanly to the new site.
Launch is planned, not rushed. We map every old URL to its new page with 301 redirects, so the rankings you have earned are not thrown away. We confirm that analytics, call tracking and form notifications work, submit the sitemap in Google Search Console, and check that your Google Business Profile links to the right pages.
We schedule launch away from heat waves and cold snaps, when your phones are busiest. After go-live, we test every form, booking path and click-to-call link on real phones. Your CSRs get a short note on what changed and where new leads will arrive.
You get- 301 redirects from old URLs
- Analytics and conversion tracking live
- Sitemap submitted to Google
- Google Business Profile link check
- Launch checklist sign-off
- 05
Grow
OngoingAfter launch, we keep the site fast, secure and current, add content ahead of each season, and report on calls, leads and booked jobs so you can see what the site produces.
A website is not finished at launch. Shoulder season is the time to update tune-up offers and promote maintenance agreements. Peak season is when speed and call routing matter most. A care plan keeps the site updated, backed up and monitored, and gives you time each month for changes.
Growth plans add local SEO, new service-area pages and conversion improvements based on what your call and form data shows. Reports cover calls, leads and booked jobs where your software allows tracking, not impressions on their own. Compare options on our care and growth plans page.
You get- Hosting, updates and backups
- Monthly call and lead report
- Seasonal page and offer updates
- Local SEO and new service-area pages
How much of my team's time does the process take?
Expect one kickoff call with the owner or GM, a short conversation with a CSR or office manager, and two review points: the homepage concept and the staging site. We handle the writing, design and build, and we ask for feedback in short, specific rounds so nobody is pulled off the phones for long.
What happens if I do not like the homepage concept?
Tell us what is not working and we will revise it, or you can walk away. The concept is free and carries no obligation. The Loom walkthrough explains the reasoning behind each choice, which makes it easier to give specific feedback rather than a general reaction.
Can you work with our current website platform?
Usually, yes. We build on WordPress or Webflow depending on how your team wants to edit the site, and we can work from your existing content. If your current site sits on a closed builder that limits speed, SEO or ownership, we will explain the tradeoffs and recommend a move.
Will launching a new site hurt our Google rankings?
A careless launch can. We protect rankings by mapping old URLs to new pages with 301 redirects, keeping content that already ranks, and checking Google Search Console after launch. Some movement in the first weeks is normal while Google recrawls the site.
Step one is free.
Run the audit now, or book a call and we’ll walk through your site together.
